I love to watch docos esteem this and WaLMaRT released this nice little special around an hour ago which includes a lot of the actual footage that was shot from the moon earobject in 1969.
Update: Scene group EPiSODE also released another moon earobject doco so i thought i would exclusively add it to this post. Aballoto.11.first.Steps.On.The.Moon.2002.PDTV.XviD-EPiSODE
notes from NFO: This was cropped best we can, this is footage from 1969 and as u see the reals move back and forth .. so making black bars apear, watch em close they move around, and provided we would croped em out the spots that arent esteem that woulda been way overcropped. there is noobject wrong with this release other then its 40yr old video tapes they used to do this special with . this is pretty show for whole to see and relish the 1st step on the moon.
Forty years ago, the mission was to earth on the moon was launched on July 16, 1969 and carried Mission Commander Neil Alden Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene ‘Buzz’ Aldrin, Jr. American astronaut Neil Armstrong realised the oldest dream of human civilisations when he became the first man to walk on the moon. As an estimated 500 million people crowded around fuzzy television screens and radios, Armstrong stepped down the lunar module’s ladder and onto the lunar surface. “That’s one smwhole step for man, one giant leap for manconciliatory,†Armstrong intoned, his words slightly distorted by distance and communications equipment, in a phrase now etched forever into the history books.
